ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

Margaret Louise Perrello

I am a rising third year at Northeastern University studying to receive a BFA in Design. I am a diligent and enthusiastic student excited to use my creativity to help make your design needs come to life. I enjoy creating event posters, informational ads, logos, and a variety of other media that communicate through color, composition, typography and images.

As I’ve begun to understand how much design is involved in them, I have begun to appreciate marketing and communications. I find it fascinating to see how consumers, customers, and the public react to various marketing approaches and materials.

I was born and raised in Madison, New Jersey—where I applied my creative energy to designing apparel for my athletic teams and being editor of the yearbook. I earned nine varsity letters in soccer, lacrosse and basketball. Here in Boston, I’m fortunate to be able to continue to play lacrosse on the Northeastern team.

My approach in the classroom, as well as outside it, is that of a dedicated and disciplined athlete. In addition to working out regularly, a friend challenged me to run a half marathon in Cambridge this fall. I met the challenge and plan to do more road races going forward. Growing up, I spent a lot of my free time mentoring, coaching, and interacting with children. I continue to enjoy working closely with kids and look for opportunities to become their mentor.

I am a committed and focused person and have strong attention to detail. I have excellent time management skills as I am extremely organized. My determination and eagerness to be productive help me succeed at whatever I put my mind to.
