From January ‘24 through July ‘24, I worked for Boston Beer Company which features brands such as Samuel Adams®, Twisted Tea®, Angry Orchard®, Truly®, and various other innovation brands, the newest being Sun Cruiser®.
Most of my responsibilities revolved around Samuel Adams® and Angry Orchard® branded requests and working with sales representatives to develop and craft promotional materials tailored to their needs. I not only worked on crafting the material, but I also managed the printing process. This process involved determining whether the request could be printed in-house or required an external vendor. With each option having different timelines, I set personal deadlines to ensure the requested in-hand dates were met. Following brand guidelines, I designed cohesive materials, obtained necessary approvals, and submitted the final designs to sales representatives for client approval. Once approved, I arranged for either external printing or in-house printing and shipping.

On the left is a request I made for an internal logo for the Autonomous Maintenance Team. They wanted the logo to include the name “DePaul McCartney and Cans”, reference Paul McCartney and Wings, and incorporate elements representing the depalletizer machine they use.
This project was challenging for me, as I had to first familiarize myself with depalletizers and second create a cohesive design that perfectly aligned with the client’s logo requirements.
This project was challenging for me, as I had to first familiarize myself with depalletizers and second create a cohesive design that perfectly aligned with the client’s logo requirements.
Towards the end of the logo design process, I realized that the "A" in "Cans" could be transformed into a can tab... This prompted me to experiment with this idea further--though I couldn't decide which version I preferred, so I sent all the options to my client for them to choose from.

This task involved designing a user-friendly and intuitive 24x18 inch wholesaler map for the CEO, and organizing regional and divisional managers within the map. After completing the initial version of the map, the client requested including the 407 wholesalers information within the design. This prompted a redesign to meet their needs.
My growing confidence with brand guidelines gave me the opportunity to create a brand buildout from scratch. This project challenged me to understand every detail of Samuel Adams® buildouts so I could successfully create one myself.

I had the opportunity to create text-heavy designs and expand my Photoshop skills through Angry Orchard®'s special-sized requests, as well as requests that required approval from the Samuel Adams® team.
